The objective of the Norwegian Corporate Governance Board - NUES (Norsk Utvalg for Eierstyring og Selskapsledelse) is to keep the Norwegian Code of Practice updated as well as to promote the Code of Practice both in Norway and internationally.
NUES was established by these nine organisations (the representative of each organisation to NUES is named in brackets):
- Norwegian Shareholders Association (Bernt Bangstad, Senior Advisor)
- Norwegian Institute of Public Accountants (Per Hanstad, Chief Executive Officer)
- Institutional Investor Forum¹ (Hans Thrane-Nielsen)
- Finance Norway² (Stein Sjølie, Director Financial and Legal Department)
- Norwegian Society of Financial Analysts (Dag Erik Rasmussen, Partner Advokatfirmaet Selmer DA)
- Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise² (Ingebjørg Harto, Legal Director)
- Norwegian Association of Private Pension Funds (Rolf Skomsvold)
- Oslo Børs (Elisabeth Dyvik, Senior Adviser)
- Norwegian Mutual Fund Association (Lasse Ruud, Managing Director)
The Board is chaired by Ingebjørg Harto. Ida Weyer-Larsen, Oslo Børs, provides secretariat services to the Board.
